Today was Taylor's 12th Birthday. Happy birthday Taylor! Taylor is a beautiful girl, inside and out. She is becoming a young woman right before our eyes and it is happening fast. She is changing so quickly and I can't seem to stop it. Taylor is kind, strong, helpful, shy, faithful and just plain lovely. She is such a blessing in our lives, here is a little of her....

I can't begin to describe what an amazing sister she is. She has been home all summer, just spending time with her family, and says it has been her best summer ever. How a 12 year old with 3 much younger sisters is totally happy to just be home all the time with us is baffling to me, but that's Taylor. Her family is everything, and she shows it in her actions. Whether it is a "sleepover" with Jade in her room, or spending her hard earned money to give presents to her sisters or taking her parents to a soccer game :), she is always showing her family how much she loves us. She has a great deal of faith and is a very spiritual girl.
She has been pretty much in charge of our "free summer" and has been so happy to find things to do that don't cost money. She daydreams about the places she wants to go that do have those hefty prices, but she never, never complains about the things she is missing out on.
She loves her baby sister Mylee, she will be such a good mom.
She is an amazing soccer player and she works so hard to improve on her talents. She will find something she wants to do, and sometimes those things are not natural talents for her. That doesn't stop her. She will work, and work, and work until those are her talents. Happy Birthday Taylor! We love you so much!

Okay, so here's why I haven't posted much lately....we have been having quite the time! Last week we had a little party for Taylor's birthday and took a few friends and cousins bowling.
Then came home for some cake and ice cream...
Okay, these are all out of order, but I don't have time to fix it, oh well. This past weekend we traveled to St. George, UT for David's sister, Huenu's wedding. It was great to see family again and it was our FIRST trip out of town. Our home health nurse came and checked Brinley's counts and everything was pretty good. So off we went. Here's the happy couple...
Daddy and Brinley at the wedding..
Dancing sisters...
Hiding sisters...
Mylee started rolling over! She can't seem to get her arm out of the way though...
Just thought this was cute..
Two of my four brown eyed girls...
Ahhh, I love love love her hair. She looks so healthy and strong and happy. What a change from just a few short months ago.

Taylor babysat to earn money to take David and I to a Real Salt Lake soccer game. It was a GREAT game, they won, and we had SO much fun.

Here is our camping pics I promised, better late than never. We camped right by a river, it was beautiful.
Brinley had just gotten her chemo and was on steroids, but she managed a little of this....
Along with some cuddle times...
And yes, some of this too, but we figured she would have been feeling like that at home too, so I think it was worth it for the good moments she was able to have.

Couldn't resist this one...so precious.
Mylee!

Taylor and her cousins discovered a place they named "rock world" and spent a lot of time playing there.
All the cousins.

We have truly had a great couple of weeks. Brinley has been feeling so great, and the steroid pulse was not bad at all this month. It's like we are a normal family! We have been squeezing as much stuff as we can, so we have been busy, busy, busy. I fully anticipate something slapping us back to reality, but for the moment we are quite enjoying life with each other! Jade has been asking a lot of questions about cancer and I have had to do a lot of explaining. But one thing I explained to her is that Brinley is beating the cancer, and that made her so happy. There is so much she is trying to grasp, but I think she is quite proud of her sister. Thanks so much for checking in on us!
